Does anyone get pains between their shoulder blades as that’s what I’ve got

Lately I’ve been experiencing pain right between my shoulder blades, and I’m wondering if anyone else with fibromyalgia has this too.
Is it: A constant ache?  A burning sensation?  Sharp or stabbing pain?  Tight muscles or muscle spasms? Worse after sitting, standing, or sleeping?
I’d love to hear what helps you manage it—whether it’s gentle stretching, heat therapy, massage, medication, or something else.
Living with fibromyalgia can feel isolating, but sharing our experiences reminds us that we’re not alone.

Is this a common fibromyalgia symptom for you? Does the pain spread to your neck, shoulders, or upper back?  What seems to trigger it—stress, poor sleep, overdoing it, or something else?  Have you found anything that really helps, such as heat therapy, stretching, massage, medication, or gentle exercise

Some people describe the pain as feeling like a tight knot between the shoulder blades, while others experience muscle spasms or pain that spreads into the neck, shoulders, or arms. Because fibromyalgia symptoms vary from person to person, the location and intensity of pain can change from day to day.

Managing shoulder blade pain often requires a combination of approaches. Gentle stretching, heat therapy, warm baths, light exercise, good posture, relaxation techniques, and getting enough restorative sleep may help reduce discomfort. Some people also benefit from physical therapy or medications prescribed by their healthcare provider.

It’s important to remember that persistent or severe pain between the shoulder blades isn’t always caused by fibromyalgia. If the pain is sudden, severe, associated with chest pain, shortness of breath, fever, numbness, or weakness, it should be evaluated by a healthcare professional promptly.
